Ministering Servants

Devotional Text:

Exodus 37:9 (NLT) 9 The cherubim faced each other and looked down on the atonement cover. With their wings spread above it, they protected it.

Devotional Thought:

The protective care of angel’s wings over the Ark of the Covenant speaks of the power and ability of God to care for what is his. (cf. Ruth 2:12; Psa. 17:8; 36:7-8; 61:4; 91:1, 4). The angels too are God’s ministering servants both to his glory and the good of the redeemed (Heb. 1:14).
